Mary Louise Krantz, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on Saturday, May 30th, 2026. Born on November 30th, 1943, in Holton, Michigan, to Elwin and Marie Clark, Mary was a beacon of warmth and kindness to all who knew her.
For many years, Mary dedicated her life to being a homemaker, cherishing every moment spent with her family. Later, she pursued a career at Perrigo Company, where she worked diligently for 14 years. Her colleagues admired her dedication and the joy she brought into the workplace.
Mary shared a deep love for the great outdoors with her devoted husband, Richard Krantz. Together, they spent countless hours hunting, fishing, and cherishing the serene landscapes, especially at their cottage at Silver Lake. Mary was known for her appreciation of life’s simple pleasures, particularly the joy of people watching and enjoying nature's beauty.
Mary is survived by her loving husband, Richard Krantz; her children, Ted (Toun) Coffman, Regina Rivard, and Carl (Christen) Krantz. Her legacy continues through her 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and her siblings, Beverly Balcom, Wanda (Tony) Suykerbuyk, Steven Clark and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Elwin and Marie (Meyers) Clark; her sister, Betty Garhart, and brothers, Elwin Clark Jr. and Eddie Clark.
With respect to Mary’s wishes, there will be no public service at this time. Arrangements have been entrusted to Crandell Funeral Home - Fremont Chapel.
