Lindsey, Mary Mary Lindsey, age 89 of White Cloud, passed away Thursday, December 30, 2004 at the Transitional Health Services in Fremont. Mary was born on September 15, 1915 in Mississippi to Willie and Melissie (Howard) Dorsey. She married Willie Wall and he preceded her in death. She later married Joseph Lindsey and he also preceded her in death. Mary moved to the White Cloud area in 1969 from Grand Rapids where she had been a silk presser in the retail dry cleaning business for many years until her retirement. She had been a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church in White Cloud. She is survived by her grandson, Vertuis Wall of White Cloud; 5 great grandchildren, Chanelle Wall, Latisha Wall, Vertuis Wall Jr., Sharmaine Wall, Mieda Wall all of New York, New York; 6 great great grandchildren; her sister, Cari Newman of White Cloud; grand daughters-in-law, Joanne Knox of Muskegon; Vernita KK Grayson of Grand Rapids; Pangetta Pam Anderson of Grand Rapids; grand son-in-law, David Anderson of Grand Rapids; a host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Vernon Wall on September 12, 1999; her grandson, Vernon Wall Jr.; and her daughter-in-law, Martha Wall on November 26, 2004. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, January 4, 2005 from the Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel with Rev. Hendrick Jones of the White Cloud Empowerment Center Church of God in Christ presiding with interment in the White Cloud Cemetery.
