Mary Lysakowski was called home by our Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 6, 2023. Mary was born on April 5, 1938, in Kirkland Lake, Ontario, to David and Sara (Brisson) Dumais and named Marie Reine` Dumais. Mary married Donald Stanley Lysakowski in Ontario on September 18, 1954, and moved to the United States where she became a citizen and her name was changed to Mary. She loved to watch her grandchildren, bake, play bingo, quilt, read and listen to books, her trips to Canada and casinos, and visit family.
Mary has left a hole in the hearts of her family which includes her children, David (Caron) Lysakowski of Garden City, Denny Lysakowski and his partner Todd Schneider, Debra (Chuck) Taber, and Diana (Ron Smith) Lyskowski; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren and 1 on the way; sister, Jackie Morin of Canada; sister-in-law, Jeannine Dumais; her extended family members.
