Mattingly, Mary Jane Mary Jane Mattingly, age 65 of Fremont passed away Thursday, October 9, 2003 at Spectrum Health Services Downtown Campus in Grand Rapids. She was born on April 14, 1938 in Grand Rapids to John A. and Mary (Sumner) Kersjes and later married Raymond Mattingly on April 22, 1961 in Wyoming , Michigan . Mary was a clerk at Newaygo County Clerks Office in White Cloud for several years and was a member of All Saints Catholic Church in Fremont . Mary is survived by her husband of 42 years, Raymond of Fremont; her daughter, Ginger (Ben) Lewakowski of Spring Lake; her son, Thom (Lori) Mattingly of Grand Rapids; 3 grandchildren, Jessica, Samantha, and Kaeleigh; her brother, Pat (Mary) Kersjes of Nashville, Michigan; several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. A Memorial Mass was held on Wednesday, October 15, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. from All Saints Catholic Church in Fremont with Rev. Father Tony Russo presiding. Friends are asked to consider the American Cancer Society or Memorial Masses to All Saints Catholic Church for memorial contributions.
