Mary M. Maxson, age 87 of White Cloud, passed away Thursday, August 7, 2014 at her home following a lingering illness. Mary was born on March 12, 1927 in Grand Rapids to Irvin and Ellen Violet (Yeager) Paulson and later married Donald Maxson on April 3, 1947 in Dalton Township. Mary started work at the Gerber Products Company at an early age where she worked until starting her family and then became a homemaker. Mary had enjoyed traveling, riding horses, bow hunting and fishing and later in life enjoyed going to yard sales and visiting with family and friends. Mary is survived by her husband of 67 years, Donald of White Cloud; her children, Jeff (Paula) Maxson of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Tim (Michele) Maxson of White Cloud; Mary Ellen (Tim) Betke of White Cloud; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Erma, Ivy, Buster and Wilson. Following her wishes, there will be no services following cremation. Friends may consider memorial contributions to the Maxson family in memory of Mary.
