Obituary

Mary M. Piklor, age 86 of Hesperia, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 11, 2001 at the Transitional Health Services in Fremont. She was born on February 15, 1915 in Chicago, Illinois to Dennis and Anna (Hayden) Ronan and married John Piklor on July 11, 1931 in wAukeegon, Illinois. She has been a resident of the area for the past 35 years where she had been a homemaker and had previously worked as a secretary at the All Saints Catholic Church. She had been a volunteer at the Newaygo County Social Services for several years and was also a member of Christ The King Catholic Church in Hesperia. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Shephard of Fremont; Mary Koster of Fremont; 8 granchildren, Christy (Rod) Stewart; Carl Schumacher; Curt (Patti) Schumacher; Cathy (Jerry) McClure; Carol (Tom) Pratt; Kenneth Koster; Kathy Borkowski; Clare (Dan) Parks; 14 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren. Funeral Mass Services were held on Friday, June 15, 2001 from the All Saints Catholic Church with Rev. Father Richard VanLente Presiding with interment in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Fremont. Friends may consider the Fremont Area Community Foundation for Newaygo County Community Services for memorial contributions. Envelopes and arrangements by Crandell Funeral Home in Fremont.
