Mary E. Snow, age 62 of Grant, passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at her home following a short illness. Mary was born on February 24, 1955 in Port Huron, Michigan to Richard E. and Dorothy E. (Cunningham) Sherman and has been a resident of the Grant area for the past 40 years. Mary married Don Snow in 2001 and Don preceded her in death in 2007. Mary had worked at Valspar in Fremont for several years until her retirement and enjoyed crafts, playing cards, and playing shuffleboard. Mary especially enjoyed camping at the campground of the Fremont VFW at Diamond Lake. Mary was also a member of the Fremont VFW Laurels Post #6898.

Mary is survived by her children, Joseph (Nicole) Thompsen of Grant; Lisa Rosencrans of Muskegon; Eric Thompsen of Grant; her grandchildren, Alex Rosencrans, Aiden Hamilton, Brayden Rosencrans, Hailey Thompsen, Chelsie Rosencrans, Katie Thompsen; her siblings, Dixie (Vern) Rich; Pat (Chris) Thompsen; Ed (Dee) Sherman; Dennis Sherman; William Sherman; Janet Sheman; Jean Sherman; several nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her son, Dennis Thompsen in 1984; her husband, Don Snow in 2007; her parents, Richard and Dorothy Sherman; her brothers, Richard Sherman and Robert Sherman.
