Mary Ann Woodworth, age 97 of Grand Rapids, formerly of Fremont, passed away Thursday, October 13, 2016 at the Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids. Mary Ann was born on August 8, 1919 in Grand Rapids to Francis J. and Ethel R. (Byrne) McGee and later married James A. Woodworth on June 21, 1947 in Muskegon. James preceded her in death on November 3, 2002. Mary Ann had been a book keeper for Weaver Oil for many years until her retirement in 1982. Mary Ann had been active in the Stage Door Players Group, LAMBS of Ramshorn Country Club, Red Hats, HAGS at Gerber Hospital and had enjoyed playing Bridge. Mary Ann was a member of the All Saints Catholic Church in Fremont. Mary Ann is survived by her daughters, Eileen (Hoyt) Sexton of Cedar Hill, Texas and Anne Hoyt of Lowell; her grandchildren and great grandchildren, Robert (Yvette) Sexton and their daughter, Kaitlyn; Eric (Amy) Sexton and their children, Caroline, James, Charlotte; Scott (Kim) Woodworth and their children, Coryn, Feyth, Tabitha, Kaylee, Nathan, Alex, Danielle; grandson, Austin Hoyt; her brother, Tom (Fran) McGee of Grand Rapids; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, John McGee, Joe McGee, and her sister, Eileen Mol.
