Obituary

Matt L. Lance, age 35 of White Cloud, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 2, 2010 at his home. Matt was born on March 16, 1975 in Fremont to Gene and Terry Lance and attended White Cloud High School. Matt had worked as a truck driver for Mid State Utilities for several years and enjoyed fishing and hunting, bowling, many sports, especially football and loved to cook. Matt is survived by his mother, Terry (Robert) McCans of Houston, Texas; his father, Gene (Jane) Lance of Lakeview; his brother, Roger (Debbie) Lance of White Cloud; nephews, Robert & Markus Lance of White Cloud; former wife, Jennifer Lance of Birmingham, Alabama; step sister, Jeri Myrick of Grant; step brothers, John Myrick of Grant and Chris Myrick of Grant; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, October 7, 2010 from 3 5pm at the White Cloud Eagles following cremation. In lieu of flowers, friends may consider the Matt L. Lance family to assist with expenses, C/O Crandell Funeral Home for memorial contributions in memory of Matt. Terry, Robert, Roger, Debbie, Lil' Robert, and Markus, all of you are in our thoughts and prayers. May God comfort you in this time of sorrow. Matt, you will be missed. We wish we had gotten to know you better. May God keep you in His loving embrace for eternity. Im really sorry to hear about matt . he has always !!!! been a wonderful brother / cousin I loved him very much he has always been a clown he always knew when you were down but he would always make you laugh. But that was matt. As we got older we all went our separate ways . and didnt see each other . but the love for him was and will always be here . he is watching over all of yell . and all of us. Just know that my thoughts and prayers are with each of you. And I love yell very much matt will be missed very much. I love yell.
