Matthew David Kilts, age 32, of Fremont passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2020. Matt was born on November 26, 1987, in Fremont to Steven Paul and Cora Mae (Wade) Kilts worked salvaging metals. Matt was an avid animal lover and enjoyed caring for his dogs, cats, and fish. Matt is survived by his father, Steven Paul Kilts Sr. of Fremont; brothers, Kody (Laina) Kilts of Fremont and Steven Paul Kilts II of Fremont; maternal grandmother, Joyce Wade; paternal grandmother, Donna Bennet; nieces Claudia and Andrea; and many aunts, uncles, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Cora "Kari" Kilts in 2011. Due to the current restrictions of COVID-19 concerning social distancing, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later time and will be updated on this site.
