Matthew Thrasher, age 15 of Portage passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2004. He was born on December 10, 1988 in Kalamazoo to Jeff C. and Deanne (Bieberle) Thrasher and was a student at Portage Northern High School where he was a member of the Portage Northern Lacrosse Club. Matthew is survived by his parents, Jeff & Deanne Thrasher of Portage; his sister, Bridgette Thrasher at home; maternal grandparents, Tom & Carol Bieberle of Newaygo, Michigan; paternal grandparents, Ted & Marge Thrasher of Hendersonville, North Carolina; his uncles, Mark (Inga) Thrasher of Leonia, New Jersey; Chuck (Cindy) Bieberle of Mattawan, Michigan; his aunt; Dawn Bieberle of Columbus, Indiana. Funeral services were held on Friday, July 2, 2004 at the All Saints Catholic Church in Fremont with Rev. Father Tony Russo presiding.
