Maxine (Jones) Brown Maxine (Jones) Brown, age 54 of Hesperia, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2000 at the Gerber Memorial Health Services in Fremont. She was born on August 5, 1945 to Phillip and Thelma (Grey) Jones in Hart, Michigan and married George W. Brown on January 23, 1969 in Muskegon. She has lived most of her life in Hesperia where she was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband, George of Hesperia; six children, Tena Toner of California; Rose Derby of White Cloud; Carl Toner of California; Joe (Stacey) Derby of Grant; Sam (Tammi) Brown of Hesperia; twelve grandchildren; three brothers, Bill (Marilyn) Vanderstelt of Fremont; Dan (Helen) Vanderstelt of Hesperia; Arthur (Sarah) Jones of Howard City.
