Halverson, Maxine "Tena" Maxine Tena Halverson, age 76 of Grant, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at her home. Tena was born on July 10, 1929 in Fremont to Andrew and Thirza (Ackley) Anderson Sr. and married Victor Halverson on September 8, 1962 in Fremont. She has been a lifelong resident of the Fremont and Grant area where she had worked at Gerber Products Company, Cherry Hill Orchards and Maxson Blueberry Farm. She enjoyed bowling and attended several state bowling tournaments. Enjoyed camping, fishing, motorcyle riding, playing pool, gaming and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Victor Halverson of Grant; her children, James Albert (Tammy) Romine Jr. of Baldwin; Debra Ann (Bruce) Nelson of Grant, Michigan; Robert Judson (Rose) Romine of Fremont; her grandchildren, Christopher (Tracy); Ryan (Misty); Jodi; Jason (Jodi); Sarah; Victor; Scott; Samantha; Heather; her great grandchildren, Gunnar; Mathew; Erica; Tyler; Logan; Trevor; Riley; Abby; Logan; Lucas; her sister, Virginia Fowler of Jenison; her brother, Max Anderson of Muskegon; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Lena Hill; her brothers, John Anderson; Russell Pat Anderson; Andy Tom Anderson Jr.; Robert Rob Anderson Arthur Art Anderson; Elmer Anderson. Funeral memorial services were held on Friday, October 14, 2005 from the Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel with the Halverson Family and funeral celebrant Curt Crandell presiding with interment in the Bridgeton Township Cemetery.
