Maynard DeYoung, age 95, of Three Rivers and formerly of Fremont, passed away on Thursday August 15, 2013 at Riverview Manor in Three Rivers. Maynard was born on December 12, 1917 in Holton to Miner and Maggie (Clock) DeYoung and married Irene Chapman on Novemer 25, 1942 in Muskegon. He retired from Shaw Walker in Muskegon after 33 years and enjoyed camping and fishing. Maynard was a member of the Fremont Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Maynard is survived by his son, Leonard (Linda) DeYoung of Three Rivers; grandchildren, Lori, Lawrence, and Lathan. He was preceded by his wife, Irene; and sisters, Bernadine Sherman, Mary Miley, and Jeanette Evers. Services for Maynard will be held on Sunday, September 22,at 11 AM from the Fremont Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
