Missy (Melissa) Inez Webb, 71 of Newaygo, passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully surrounded by her family, January 13, 2026 at Gerber Hospital, Fremont, Michigan.
Born August4, 1954 in Summit, New Jersey, to Robert and Helen (White) Skinner. She worked many jobs, long distance phone operator, national reservationist for Holiday Inn’s, and admitting administrator at St. Mary’s Hospital, Grand Rapids, Michigan. She was a youth leader and Sunday school teacher at the United Methodist Church of Newaygo. She was actively involved in Summer Youth Theater for 20 years, her community service touching many young adults, leaving a lasting positive impact. She was an animal lover, and a political and social activist.
Her greatest attribute was her devotion to her children and grandchildren which she cherished, nurtured and loved fiercely. She is survived by husband of 52 years of marriage Raymond Webb, five children: Colin, Travis, Rory (Amanda), Chelsea and Casey (Anthony Wildschut). Five grandchildren: Fiona, Liam, Desmond, Ailish and Indie Webb. She is preceded in death by parents Robert and Helen Skinner, and sister-in-law Nina Skinner. Survived by brothers Alan Skinner of Texas, David Skinner (Bonnie) of New York, Wes Skinner (Delilah) of Florida.
At her request, a cremation to be followed by a celebration of life to occur in the coming Spring; time and location to be announced. In lieu of flowers we ask for donations to Heifer International in her name.
