Michael Russel Clark Sr., age 63, passed away peacefully with his loving wife and daughter by his side on January 10, 2023. Michael was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on October 20, 1959, to Roscoe and Virginia (Nowakowski) Clark. Mike worked in a metal stamping as a laborer/supervisor his whole life and retired from Knoll of Muskegon.
On December 18, 1981, Michael married the love of his life, Virginia (Vega) in Loveland, Colorado. Mike loved his family above all. His wife meant the world to him. There wasn't a day that went by that he didn't tell her, "I love you with all my heart." Those who witnessed their love know this all to be true. In total, they spent 46 wonderful years together.
He loved spending time with his two sons in the Manistee National Forest in White Cloud. Hunting and fishing were his favorite things to do. Conversations with his daughter was also one of his favorite pastimes. They were always each other's voice of reason; best friends. Spending time with his grandchildren also brought him great joy. They loved it when their Papa would get up and have late night snacks with them and looked to him for advice always. He loved them deeply and was so proud of all of them.
Mike's memory will live on through his family who loved him with their whole hearts. He always worried about keeping his family happy, healthy, and safe; he now has a front row seat in heaven, and we have the best guardian angel ever!
Mike is survived by his loving wife and soul mate, Virginia Clark, along with his three children: Shawna (Anthony) Wallace, Michael (Brooke) Clark II, Aaron (Stephanie Hiatt) Clark; twelve grandchildren: KayLynn Wallace, MaKalah Wallace, Anthony Wallace II, A'Driona Wallace, Kallie Basch, Michael Clark III, Julian Clark, Aaron Clark II, Meteo Clark, Payton Clark, Hunter Clark, and Adyson Clark and one great grandson. His siblings, Dianne (Chuck) Hall, Mary (Rodger) Gagnon, Charles (Dorothy) Clark and many, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, his twin, Roscoe Clark and Dennis Clark; and one sister, Roseanne Waller.
