Packingham, Michael H. "Mo" Michael H. Mo Packingham, age 56 of Holton, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2005 at the Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids. Mo was born on June 28, 1949 in Fremont to Donald Robert and Hermine L. (Huntoon) Packingham and married Diane (Firestone) Short on November 1, 2002 in Indiana. He has been a longtime resident of the Holton area where he owned and operated his own trucking business. He was a veteran of the Vietnam era where he served in the United States Army and Navy. He was a proud Grandpa, enjoyed Nascar where he was a Rusty Wallace Fan, enjoyed W.W.F. and was a member of the Holton American Legion, Cobb Trygstad Anderson Post. He is survived by his wife, Diane of Holton; his son, Shannon Packingham of Elkhart, Indiana; 6 stepchildren; 14 grandchildren; sisters, Ruth Ann (Dan) Jacobsen of Holton; Kay (Butch) White of Huntsville, Tennessee; Emma Lou (John) Mottashed of Florida; Denise (David) Grubbs of Missouri; half brother, Donald Packingham of New Mexico; several nieces and nephews and his dog, Spike. Funeral memorial services with military rites were held on Tuesday, December 13, 2005 at 12:00pm from the Holton American Legion, Cobb, Trygstad Anderson Post #397.
