Michael E. Jones, age 61, of White Cloud passed away on Thursday, December 2 2010, at Spectrum Health Gerber Memorial. Michael was born on April 29, 1949, in Muskegon to Earl William and Ruby Evelyn (Shull) Jones and married Cindy Bohland on October 23, 1976, in Huntington, West Virginia. Michael was a retired contractor and currently drove for the Foundation of Behavioral Resources in Fremont. Michael enjoyed boating, hunting, fishing, Sallys for coffee, and spending time with his family. Michael is survived by his wife, Cindy; children, Michelle Jones of Texas, Matthew Skip Jones of Newaygo, Paul Jones of Newaygo, Troy (Paige) Jones of Gaylord, Heidi (Michael) Weeks of Casnovia, and Steve Jones of White Cloud; 12 grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Gary (Lupe) Jones of Newaygo, Adah (Roger) Ashley of Florida, Anna (Ray) Truman of Cedar Springs, Alice Ingersoll of Greenville, Dan Jones of Florida, Steve (Linda) Jones of Nevada, and Dixie (David) McLoon of Florida; brother in law Clifford Bud Jones of Bailey, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Audrey Dulin and Irene Jones. There will be a memorial gathering for Michael starting at 6:30 PM on Thursday, December 9, 2010, at the Crandell Funeral Home in White Cloud with a time of refreshment following at Sallys Restaurant.
