Michael Allen Morton, age 67 of White Cloud, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 27, 2023 at his home. Michael was born on June 15, 1956 in Stanwood, Michigan to Allen and Edith (Aishe) Morton and moved to California at the age of 19 where he lived for several years and had been an oil rigger on drilling equipment. Michael was involved in an automobile accident in April 1985 and lived in California before moving back to Newaygo, Michigan. Michael enjoyed building and riding Harley Davidson Motorcycles and enjoyed the time he spent with his family. Michael is survived by his daughter, Samantha Bourgeois of Sacramento, California; his mother, Edith Morton of Newaygo; his sisters and brother, Brenda Moyer of Newaygo; Robin Bain of Morley; Barbara Williams of Ionia; Mercedes Eby of White Cloud; Charley Morton of Pennsylvania; Gerald Morton of Pennsylvania; Tammy Dey of Newaygo; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; several aunts and uncles. Michael was preceded in death by his father, Allen Morton in 2007; his biker brothers, Termite and Sweat Hog. Following his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial luncheon will be on Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 2-5pm at the Morley American Legion 2560 Northland Drive Morley MI 49336.
