Michael Aris Vander Ploeg Jr., age 60, of White Cloud passed away on Friday, April 8, 2022, at Spectrum Health Gerber Memorial in Fremont. Mike was born on February 26, 1962, in Grand Rapids to Michael A. and Doris Marie (Baughn) Vander Ploeg and had retired from Spectrum Health Services in Fremont as a dietary technician. Mike's patriotism and faith were extremely important to him. Mike was active in supporting military organizations and military families. Mike was very conscious and appreciative of the many freedoms we enjoy in the United States. He was known as nice guy and loved children. Mike loved to sing and attended the Trinity Fellowship Church – Newaygo Campus. Michael is survived by his parents, Michael and Doris of White Cloud; brothers, Scott (Stephanie) Vander Ploeg of Howard City and Nathan Vander Ploeg of Newaygo; many nieces and nephews and special friends. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Keith Vander Ploeg and Shawn Vander Ploeg. Visitation & Fellowship with Lunch for Mike will be held from 12:00 - 1:00 PM on Sunday, June 26, 2022, at the Trinity Fellowship Church - Newaygo Campus (53 E. 88th Street Newaygo, MI 49337).
