It is with the deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Mila Rae Saldana. Born on September 30, 2019, in Fremont, Michigan, Mila left this world on October 21, 2025, at the tender age of six. She resided in Muskegon, bringing light and joy to all who knew her.

Mila was a bright and enthusiastic kindergartener attending Pathfinder Elementary School in Fremont. Her curiosity and wonder about the world were unparalleled, and her laughing eyes and infectious giggle brought smiles to everyone she met.

Mila's time with us, though short, was filled with love and warmth, shared with her mother Sandra (Kurtis) Bennett and father Jake (Amy) Summerskill. She was a cherished sister to Dehlila, Lily, Silas, Savannah, Aidan, and Iziah, who will all hold her in their hearts forever.

Her family wishes to remember her as the vibrant and spirited angel she was, who loved drawing colorful pictures, spending time with her siblings, and her love for unicorns. Mila's life, though brief, serves as a reminder of the beauty and innocence to be found in the world. She will be eternally missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

At this time, services are going to be held privately to honor and celebrate the beautiful impact she had on this world. Arrangements are being handled by Crandell Funeral Home in Fremont.
