Mildred Lucille Butterfield, age 93 of Fremont and formerly of Huntington Woods, passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2000 at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont. She was born on September 5, 1907 in Nashville , Michigan to Harvey and Anna (Hill) Bennett. Mildred was a teacher and homemaker. She was married to Ray Amos Butterfield on June 23, 1928 and they had been married for over 72 years. Survivors include her husband Ray of Fremont, one daughter Phyllis (Ray) Jansma of Fremont, son James Butterfield of Charlotte, 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister. Private family services have been held.
