Horvath, Mildred G. Mildred G. Horvath, age 90 of White Cloud, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, February 6, 2005 at the Transitional Health Services in Fremont where she had been a resident. Mildred was born on April 18, 1914 in Chicago, Illinois to Albert and Constance (Stone) Meyers. She married Omar H. Dakin on April 8, 1940 in Ohio and resided in Chicago, Illinois. Omar preceded her in death on October 19, 1947. She later met and married Stephen P. Horvath on November 1, 1949 and moved to White Cloud from Chicago. Stephen preceded her in death on November 3, 1964. Mildred had been a homemaker, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is survived by her children, Annette Smith, Milton and Anna Dakin, Robert and Grace Dakin, Barbara and Buck Geno all of White Cloud; Donald and Diana Dakin, and Frank and Cathy Horvath of Fremont. Also surviving are many grand children and great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Friday, February 11, 2005 from the Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel with Rev. Arnold Guikema of the Big Prairie Community Church presiding with interment in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in White Cloud.
