Obituary

Sutcliffe, Mildred Mildred Sutcliffe, age 88 of White Cloud, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2004 at the Transitional Health Services in Fremont. She was born on October 26, 1915 in Muskegon Heights to Charles and Laura Ebert and later married Joseph W. Sutcliffe on September 8, 1931. Joseph preceded her in death on May 29, 1976. Mildred had been a resident of Muskegon for 45 years prior to moving to White Cloud where she had been a member of the Jackson Avenue Congregational Church in Muskegon. She was a life member of the Eagles and had been active in the Foster Grandparents, Senior Companion Program in Newaygo County for 14 years. She is survived by her daughter, Jeanne Pavlin-Nelson of White Cloud; her sons, Joseph W. (Donna) Sutcliffe of Venice, Florida; James Arnold (Amelia) Sutcliffe of White Cloud; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; a grandson, Mark Arnold Sutcliffe; 3 brothers, Holden V. Robinson; Ralph Emberson Williams and Charles Truman Ebert. She will be missed by many friends and co-workers. Funeral services were held on Saturday, September 4, 2004 from the Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel with Rev. Lucky Fulton of the Amazing Acres Church presiding with interment in the Mona View Cemetery in Muskegon. Friends may consider the Fremont Area Community Foundation Endowment Fund for the Foster Grandparents, Senior Companion Program.
