Obituary

Millicent Luciele Drum, age 84, of Fremont passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at home. Millie was born on September 28, 1937, in Fremont to Howard Joseph and Dorothy Elizabeth (Grow) Mara. Millie enjoyed bowling, golfing, cooking, and took great pride in raising her family. She was a member of the White Cloud Eagles and member at the Fremont Moose Lodge where she had served as an officer on the Women's Auxiliary. Millie is survived by her children, Jacki (Mike) Lynnes of Mackinaw City, Guy (Raene) Redinger of Fremont, Raelene (Paul) Maynard of Massachusetts, Tammy Heemstra of Fremont, Robin (Roger) Parks of Newaygo, Terri (Darrel) Hutson of Morley, Michelle Langrick of Fremont, Dawn Drum of Fremont, Denise (Mike) Hull of Alaska, and Dale Drum of Florida; brother, Gilbert Mara of Newaygo; and many special friends. Millie loved her family and cherished her time with her 106 children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren with a legacy that will continue on. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Vicki; sister-in-law, Helen Mara; and great grandson, Marcus Hemerick. A Celebration of Life for Millie will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022, starting at 1PM at the Fremont Moose Lodge with lunch following the service.
