Milo "Mike" A. Hunt, age 89 of Fremont, formerly of Northville and Hesperia, passed away Saturday, December 15, 2018 at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont. Milo was born on January 29, 1929 in Hesperia to George Henry and Edna Pearl (Herin) Hunt and graduated from Hesperia High School in 1948 and later attended Michigan State University. Milo was drafted into the United States Army where he served during the Korean War until his honorable discharge in 1952. Milo had been a landscape designer for Greenridge Nursery in and around the Northville, Michigan area for many years until his retirement. Mike enjoyed landscaping, gardening and had been active in the Hesperia Beautification Committee.
Milo is survived by his brother, Carl (Lois) Hunt of Hesperia; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sisters and brothers, Hugh Hunt, Inez Patterson, Ivan Hunt, Veva Decker and Nina Fox.
Following Milo's wishes, anatomical donation has been made to the University of Michigan with burial taking place at a later date at the West Hesperia Cemetery with his parents. Friends may send condolence or share a memory with the Hunt family online at www.crandellfh.com.
