Milton "Miltie" Leo Bolles Age 81, of Twin Lake passed away unexpectedly Friday, November 12th, 2021. Milt was born on October 2nd, 1940, In Hesperia Michigan to Leo and Doris (Westbrook) Bolles. Milt married Nina Bolles (McClung) in 1963 and they settled in Fremont Michigan. Upon high school graduation, Milt attended school and became a Radiology Technician/Manager. Milt spent 30 years (1960-1990) at Gerber Memorial Hospital and 16 years (1990-2006) at Watervliet Community Hospital until his retirement in 2006. Milt also received his bachelor's degree from Western Michigan University in 1987 to further his training as a medical professional.
Milt is a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church. Milt had many hobbies & interests including Boy Scout Leader, credit union board member, Lake & Home association member, playing tennis, church league volleyball, woodworking and taking care of his family's home and was a animal lover, especially cats. Before and during retirement Milt spent his time helping others, he was passionate about it. He delivered for "Meals on Wheels" helped friends fix things in their homes, he loved to mow grass and was always out mowing the neighborhood. Also, if you visited his home and your car was in need of a wash & wax or a tire inspection, he was probably out taking care of it. Milt was a mentor to many people including his children where he set an example of a life of giving and helping others. Milt was also known for his jokes, although sometimes a bit naughty, he told them to make people smile and brighten days. Milt was a kind & caring man and will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and those lives that he had touched.
Milt is survived by his wife, Nina of Twin Lake; sons, Mike (Kirsten) Bolles of Whitehall; Eric (Darcy) Bolles of Schoolcraft; his grandchildren Drew Bolles, Andie Bolles, Carter Bolles & Owen Bolles. Milt is also survived by many nieces and cousins and his beloved cat, Coco.
There will be a Celebration of Milt's Life on Sunday, November 28, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the Muskegon Eagles Post #668 - 621 W. Western Ave. Muskegon MI 49440.
