Molly A. Varboncoeur, age 74 of Hesperia, passed away Monday, August 21, 2017 at the Spectrum Health Gerber Memorial Hospital in Fremont. Molly was born on March 6, 1943 in Fremont to Robert Mac and Pauline Pearl (Gleason) Brake and later graduated from Hesperia High School. Molly married Alan Varboncoeur on May 21, 1982 in White Cloud and has been a lifelong resident of the Hesperia area. Molly had been a botanist with the United States Forest Services and most recently was a homemaker. Molly enjoyed traveling to the Upper Peninsula with her grandchildren being a rock hound; always looked forward to March so she could work in the dirt; had been a 4H leader for several years; was an avid supporter of her children and grandchildren and their activities. Molly also was a woman of strong faith.

Molly is survived by her husband of 35 years, Al of Hesperia; her children, Gail (Keith) Olsen of Fremont; James Eaves of Ionia; Christine (Michael) Wyns of Hesperia; Katrina (Tom) Yates of Hesperia; Carmen (Keith) Varni of Dawson Springs, Kentucky; Joshua (Amanda) Eaves of Hesperia; 17 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; her brothers, Dan (Sue) Brake of East Lansing; Dave (Cathy) Brake of Fremont; Tad Brake of Hesperia. Molly was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Pauline and by her son, Luke Eaves on May 31, 2013.
