Mona Lou Robbins, age 92 of Hesperia, was welcomed into the loving arms of her Lord on Tuesday, April 25, 2017. Mona was born on April 20, 1925 in Hesperia to Lewis J. and Anna May (Lattin) Hammond and attended Hesperia High School until her marriage to Bryce L. Robbins on July 19, 1942 in South Bend, Indiana. Bryce preceded her in death in 2006. Mona moved back to the Hesperia area in 2006 from Norton Shores and was a member of the Hesperia Presbyterian Church. Mona enjoyed playing bingo, camping and riding mini bikes, traveling, fishing, mushroom hunting, was a great cook and well known for her homemade bread and truly enjoyed raising her children.

Mona is survived by her children, Robert (Marie) Robbins of Newaygo; Marjorie Benson of Whitehall; Barbara Robbins (Tom Longtin) of Whitehall; 10 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; her sisters, Wanda (Jerry) Ritter of Montague; several nieces and nephews; her special friend, Marilyn Culp of Pentwater. Mona was preceded in death by her son, Denny Robbins; her sister, Linda K. Longtin; and her brother, Louis Hammond.

VISITATION : Sunday, April 30, 2017 from 6-8pm at Crandell Funeral Home – Fremont Chapel (7193 W 48th Street Fremont MI) FUNERAL SERVICES : Monday, May 1, 2017 at 1pm at the Hesperia Presbyterian Church (821 S Church Street Hesperia MI) INTERMENT : West Hesperia Cemetery.
