Pederson, Morris L. Morris L. Pederson, age 80 of New Era, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 31, 2006 at his home following a short illness. Morris was born on June 24, 1926 in Muskegon to Axel M. and Lavina Jane (Lehman) Pederson and spent his work career in Muskegon at the Continental Teledyne Company. He was an avid fisherman and dog trainer and lived quietly and privately in his home in the woods, surrounded by his flowers and birds, living out his basic farming values in harmony with nature. He leaves numerous nieces and nephews and was preceded in death by his sisters, Arzilie (VanderVen and Ruth (Herder). A private memorial service has been held. I am missing seeing Morris around the neighborhood and wil continue to miss him. He said he was no good to the neighborhood, but I disagree. He would come sit with us when we had a yard sale. He come to the house to visit, he called me several times just to chat then an hour later he'd say, "I have probably talked your ear off by now so I guess I had better go for now" I'd like to chat wih him today.
