Myron T. Kokx Sr., age 83 of Fremont, passed away Sunday, December 24, 2000 at the Gerber Memorial Health Services in Fremont. He was born on February 11, 1917 in Hart to Theodore and Marie (Labelle) Kokx and married Mayme M. Fox on May 25, 1940 in Hart. Mayme preceded him in death on April 19, 1994. He was a member of Christ The King Catholic Church in Hesperia and has been a farmer all his life. He had also been active in Farm Bureau. He is survived by his children, Carolyn (Thomas) Wentworth of Niles; Myron (Sharon) Kokx Jr. of Hickory Corners, MI; Richard (Joan) Kokx of Fremont; 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sister, Alberta (Edmond) Olbrich of Grand Rapids; brother, Kenneth Kokx of Fremont; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, December 27, 2000 from Christ The King Catholic Church in Hesperia with Rev. Father Donn Tufts presiding with interment in the Christ The King Catholic Cemetery. Friends may consider Christ The King Catholic Church for memorial contributions.
