Myrtle Rose Gildner, age 83 of Grant, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2014 at the Newaygo Medical Facility in Fremont. Myrtle was born on June 22, 1931 in Grand Rapids to Louis and Goldie Deshaw and later married Bruce Bowers on June 22, 1964. Myrtle had worked at the Butternut Bakery in Grand Rapids for a short period and then was a homemaker. Myrtle was a member of the White Cloud Church of God. Myrtle is survived by her husband, Bruce of Grant; her children Patricia (Duane) Sadlick of Pierson; Kathy Widmiayer of Cedar Springs; Bob (Patricia) Bileth of Kentucky; Bernard Gildner; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; her sister, Ruth Ann (Earl) Hudson. She was preceded in death by her daughters, Janet and Terri and by 1 sister and 9 brothers. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the White Cloud Church of God with Bishop Jim Fader of the White Cloud Church of God presiding with interment at a later date in the Rosedale Cemetery in Standale.
