Nancy A. Ferguson, age 102 of Newaygo, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2017 at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont. Nancy was born on December 1, 1914 in Glasgo, Scotland to David and Mary (Bingham) Morrison and later married Ralph W. Ferguson. Ralph preceded her in death in 1983. Nancy has been a longtime resident of the Newaygo area where she had been an administrative assistant at Great Lakes Energy until her retirement. Nancy was a member of the Newaygo United Methodist Church where she had been active in church activities including singing in the choir and Kids Hope.

Nancy is survived by her children, James (Kathy) Ferguson of Newaygo; Nancy Ferguson of Newaygo; Ralph (Kristin) Ferguson of Los Angeles, California; daughter-in-laws, Judy Ferguson of Wisconsin and Andra Ferguson of Ann Arbor; 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sons, Dick Ferguson and Larry Ferguson; her brothers, David Morrison and Thomas Morrison and her sister, Jessie Lyons.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 3:00 pm at the Newaygo United Methodist Church 101 State Road Newaygo MI 49337 with interment in the Newaygo Cemetery following cremation. Friends may consider memorial contributions to the Newaygo United Methodist Church for memorial contributions in memory of Nancy.
