Nancy L. Marlin, age 70 of White Cloud, passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at her home. Nancy was born on June 2, 1948 in Three Rivers, Michigan to Gerald Akins and Reita Louise (Van Tuyl) Walter Sr. and graduated from Three Rivers High School in 1966. Nancy later married James L. Marlin on August 29, 1970 in Three Rivers. Nancy moved to the White Cloud area in 1980 from Lansing and had been a homemaker and babysitter for over 30 years in the area for family and friends. Nancy enjoyed raising and riding horses, sewing, and reading, but especially treasured the time spent with her family. Nancy is survived by her husband, James of White Cloud; her children, James J. Marlin of Grand Rapids; Tracie L. (Mike) Perrin of White Cloud; her grandchildren, Hunter, Jemi, Jayla, and Easton Perrin; her brothers and sister, Jerry (Joyce) Walter Jr. of Kalamazoo; June Colter of Vicksburg; Marlin Walter of Three Rivers; Doug Walter of Athens, Michigan and her uncle Marvin (Marlene) Van Tuyl of Kalamazoo. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Reita Walter. VISITATION : Monday, December 10, 2018 from 11-12pm at the Christ Lutheran Church 701 S. Evergreen White Cloud MI 49349.
