Nancy Lee McClain, age 65 of Fremont passed away Thursday, July 3, 2008 at Gerber Memorial Health Services in Fremont. Nancy was born on August 10, 1942 in Fremont to George and Elizabeth (Allen) Zuwerink and graduated from Holton High School and went on to attended Central Michigan University. She met and later married Terry McClain on December 5, 1969, in Fremont. Nancy had worked at Gerber Products for 10 years and later as a secretary at the Fremont United Methodist Church for 10 years. Nancy was a member of the Fremont United Methodist Church and enjoyed puzzles, reading, and watching afternoon soap operas. Nancy is survived by her husband, Terry of Fremont; her daughter, Tracy (Harry) Posthumus of Muskegon; 11 grandchildren; her brothers and sisters, Phyllis Deuling of Fremont; Renard (Mary) Zuwerink of North Carolina; David (Sue) Zuwerink of Holton; Betty Anne (Robert) Anderson of Paris, Michigan; and George (Sally) Zuwerink of Fremont. She was preceded in death by her brother Ron in 1997. Memorial services were held on Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at the Fremont United Methodist Church with Pastor Carolin Spragg presiding.
