Neva Ives, age 73, of Fremont passed away at Hackley Hospital in Muskegon on Friday morning August 16, 2002 . She was born on September 15, 1928 , to Loyd and Laura (Olds) Murphy in Walkerville , Michigan , and married Albert C. Ives on June 29, 1947 , in Elbridge Township . She was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church , Home Extension, Garden Club, Audubon Society and active in the church quilters circle for Missions. Surviving are her loving daughter, Doreen (Gary) Rottier of Fremont; sons, Albert Ives Jr. of Surf Side Beach, Texas, Barton Ives of Platte City, Missouri, and Loyd Ives of Martin, Michigan; 5 grandchildren, Jason (Christi) Ives, Alicia Ives, Amanda Ives, Gary Wayne Rottier II, and Aron Rottier; 1 great grandson, Curtis Malone; and 2 sisters, Leva Zeller and Gloria Hunt both of Muskegon. She was preceded in death by her husband Albert on September 2, 1990 . Funeral Services were held on Monday, August 19, 2002 , at the Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel with Rev. George Brinley and Rev. Norman Heintz officiating. Interment was in Troy Township Cemetery . Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Christian School with envelopes available at the funeral home.
