Nicholas W. "Nick" House, age 42 of Fremont, formerly of Grand Rapids, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 13, 2021 at his home in Fremont. Nick was born on April 8, 1979 in Grand Rapids to Randy and Wendy (Turpin) House and later met and married Ashley Michelle Arther on December 13, 2009 in Grand Rapids. Nick had worked at Quality Pool and Spa in Grand Rapids for many years and in 2017 became the co-owner of Quality Pool and Spa which remains a family owned and operated business. Nick and Ashley moved to the Fremont area in December of 2020 from Grand Rapids and he enjoyed fishing, the Michigan outdoors, shooting and socializing with close friends. Nick is survived by his wife, Ashley of Fremont; his children, William and Elizabeth; his mother, Wendy Brabo of Grand Rapids; maternal grandmother, Darlene Turpin; his sister, Brandy (Kevin) Zabielski of Grand Rapids and their children, (niece and nephew of Nick) – Jenna and Jason. Nick was preceded in death by his father, Randy House. Following his wishes, private Celebration of Life Services will be held at a later date at the family home.
