She was such a caring and loving person to her patients and her fellow workers, a joy to work with. I had visited her a few (probably not enough) times in the nursing home and she was always cheerful. She will be greatly missed. My prayers are with you all. Mary Burk Nina was a wonderful friend of my grandma's (Ruth Nielsen). I remember Nina working at Dr. Frost's dentist office too. Nina and all my grandma's friends would have get-togethers at each other's homes and often would hop in the car to take off for lunch in Muskegon or some out of the way place and they would meander around enjoying the countryside view. After my grandma passed on, my mom, Sally Jones, kept in touch with Nina, including frequent visits in the early years at the facility, until my mom was unable to drive to visit her. I most recently came to visit Nina the week before Christmas 2006. I hadn't been to see her in some months and maybe a year or so. I brought my son Brad and his girlfriend Melissa. I didn't think of it until I had left but I should have brought her dark chocolates, as she enjoyed those. Some 20 years ago plus Nina and Al gave me a bunch of camping gear that they no longer used as they had decided they wouldn't camp anymore. I still have the green and yellow canopy and other things too. Nina has meant a lot to my family. My grandma loved her to pieces and my mom loved her too. May God's blessings give you comfort in Nina's passing and know that she was loved and is so loved by God. He is so pleased with her. Lovingly, Kim Dyer Grand Rapids
