Norma M. Fuhrmann, age 94 of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, formerly of Fremont, passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2004 at her home. Norma was born on May 21, 1910 in Kent City, Michigan to Charles T. and Agnes (Horton) Miner and later married John F. Fuhrmann on June 27, 1935 in Fremont. John preceded her in death on August 28, 1986. Norma attended and graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelors Degree and had been a elementary school teacher with the Fremont Public Schools for many years until her retirement and was a member of the First Congregational Church, United Church of Christ in Fremont. She is survived by her son, Paul (Barbara B.J.) Fuhrmann of Cedar Raids, Iowa; her grandchildren, Jenness (Tom) Asby; Trienne Fuhrmann; Jason Johnson; Ken Johnson; 2 great grandchildren, Isaiah and Micah Asby; sister-in-law, Mary Miner of Fremont; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John and by her son John Jack P. Fuhrmann in September 1965. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, December 28, 2004 from the First Congregational Church, United Church of Christ in Fremont with Rev.
