Norma May Weaver, age 88 of Fremont, passed away Sunday, October 6, 2019 at the Newaygo County Compassion Home in White Cloud following a short illness. Norma was born on January 11, 1931 in Detroit to Thomas Clifford and Julia (Zoscsak) McIntyre and later married Ronald F. Weaver in 1952 in Manistee, Michigan. Ronald preceded her in death on October 26, 1976. Norma moved to the Fremont area in 1952 from Manistee and had been a homemaker. Norma enjoyed traveling West with Ronald in their younger years, gardening, canning, listening to music, taking evening rides in the country and reading. Norma is survived by her son, Kenneth R. Weaver of Fremont; her brothers and sister, Don (Darlene) McIntyre of East Lake; Louise Longcore of Stronack, MI; James McIntyre of Shelbyville; many nieces and nephews. Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald and by her brother, Thomas McIntyre. VISITATION : Wednesday, October 9, 2019 from 1-2pm at the First Baptist Church of Fremont 51 W.
