Norman R. Hovey, age 77 of White Cloud, passed on Friday, October 19, 2018 at his home. Norman was born on August 7, 1940 in Sparta to Virgil and Leona (Evans) Hovey. Norman had been a production worker at Behr and Teledyne at the plant on Alpine Avenue where he met his wife Frances and they were later married on July 28, 1967 in Grand Rapids. Norman moved to the White Cloud area in 2001 from Grand Rapids and enjoyed fishing, boating, hunting and was an all-around handyman. Norman is survived by his wife, Frances; step daughter, Linda Quinn of Grand Rapids; step grandsons, Christopher White; Thomas (Duane Stendel-White) White of Grand Rapids; his step great granddaughter, Anastasia White. A time of celebration and remembrance will be held on Monday, October 29, 2018 from 2-4pm at the Crandell Funeral Home – Fremont Chapel 7193 W 48th Street Fremont MI 49412.
