Though in some ways it seems that Uncle Norm left us some time ago in that his health challenges veiled the real him, it always renders a shock to have our dear ones take that last step away into forever. We shall miss Norm... I can always enjoy the conversations about cars, motors, repairs, and the stuff of life that we both enjoyed. And how we still miss Aunt Joyce, too.... what a precious lady. May God's presence and promises become real peace and and an "umbrella" of hope. Sincerely, David & Gayle (Cruzan) Sims and family Posted 5/9/07 Mike, You and your family are in my prayers and thoughts today and always. I have great memories of Uncle Norm. We always had such fun together. We seemed to tease each other quite a bit! Aunt Joyce and Uncle Norm used to take us Cruzan cousins on a canoe trip on the Pine River each year when we were young. We would go whether it was thunder storms or freezing and we had a great time! You had two wonderful parents and they are truly missed. Love, Janis May Posted 5/9/07 Hi Mike and Nicole, As David has already mentioned, you and entire family are in our thoughts and prayers. Each memory I have of your dad includes fun, teasing and lots of laughter. He always made me feel I was his favorite niece until one day I realized that each of his nieces and nephews were his favorite! He was a great listener and had a wonderful way of showing an interest in each of us at every family gathering. I will always cherish the memories I have of your parents and the love they always showed to me. Love, Gayle Posted 5/9/07
