Ora T. McCumber, age 69 of White Cloud, passed away Monday, January 1, 2018 at her home following a short illness. Ora was born on December 4, 1948 in Talihina, Oklahoma to Robert Atha and Arlie (Davidson) Wilcox and later married Alva "Al" McCumber on April 13, 1968 in Grand Rapids. Ora has been a resident of the White Cloud area for the more than 30 years where she was a homemaker. Ora had attended the Hillside Baptist Church in Big Rapids and enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and gardening. Ora also enjoyed feeding and watching the birds, especially the hummingbirds in the spring and summer and treasured the time she spent with her family on picnics, camping and around the campfire. Ora is survived by her husband, Al of White Cloud; her children, Vicki Davis of White Cloud; Glenn McCumber of White Cloud; Melissa Guzman of Grand Rapids; her grandchildren, Soraya Guzman; Josh Guzman; Rachel Davis; Taylor Davis; Samantha Davis; several nieces, nephews, sisters-in-laws and brother-in-laws. Ora was preceded in death by her brothers, Bobby Wilcox, Danny Wilcox, Jerry Wilcox, Jody Wilcox, and Buster Wilcox and her grandmother, Martha Ellen Tippin. VISITATION : Friday, January 5, 2018 from 6-8pm at Crandell Funeral Home – White Cloud Chapel and Saturday, January 6, 2018 from 10-11am at the Crandell Funeral Home – White Cloud Chapel.
