Pamela Rae (Smith) Silverthorn Newfer, age 67, of Newaygo, went home to be with our Heavenly Father on December 25th, 2025.

Pamela was born in southern California on June 9th, 1958, to Robert Smith and Alma Meeuwenberg. Pamela married James Silverthorn and had two children: Tabatha (Brandon) Derby and Jason (Jennifer) Silverthorn. Pamela later married Andrew Newfer on June 19, 1999, and had one son, Andrew (Amanda) Newfer II. She also has three stepchildren, Jason (Amanda) Newfer, Alysha (Thomas) Kropewnicki and Jeremy (Ashley) Newfer. In her spare time Pamela enjoyed arts and crafts and tending to her garden. Pamela was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. She is survived by her husband and children, four sisters and one brother, several grandchildren and a large extended family. Per Pamela's wishes no service is planned.
