Patricia Ann Proctor, age 87 of Fremont, passed away Friday, June 8, 2018 at the Transitional Health Services in Fremont. Pat was born on December 6, 1930 in Fremont to Leon Dow and Dorothy Mae (Sherwood) Conklin and has been a lifelong resident of the Fremont area. Pat graduated from Fremont High School in 1949 and married her high school sweetheart Darrell K. Proctor on March 5, 1949. Darrell preceded her in death on March 30, 2017. Pat had been the janitor at the Fremont United Methodist Church for 25 years until her retirement and had been a homemaker raising her family prior. Family always came first with Pat. Pat had been very active in the United Methodist Women where she had served as a National Officer holder and had traveled the world with the United Methodist Women. She had been a Sunday School Teacher and Youth Group Leader for 25 years at the Fremont United Methodist Church as well. Pat is survived by her children, Monty (Lori) Proctor of Fremont; Leon (Carla) Proctor of Fremont; Warren Proctor of Holton; Darlene Locke of Grand Rapids; Kari (Dale) Kee of Bath, New York; Holly (Kevin) Hobbs of Fremont; 27 grandchildren; numerous great and great great grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Donna Conklin of Grand Rapids. Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell; her son, Michael R. Proctor on November 18, 1972; her sister, Lavina Haynor and her brothers, Paul R. Conklin and David Conklin. MEMORIAL SERVICES : Friday, June 15, 2018 at 2pm at the Fremont United Methodist Church. INTERMENT : Maple Grove Cemetery.
