Patricia Ann Gleason, age 64, of White Cloud, passed away Friday, December 22, 2000, at the Gerber Memorial Health Services in Fremont. She was born on February 10, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois to Raymond Leo and Mary (Dowling) McDonald and married Jerry Gleason on June 21, 1991 in White Cloud. She has been a lifelong resident of Newaygo County and had worked at Therm-O-Disc Company in Newaygo until her retirement in 1995. She was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church in White Cloud where she had been active in the Ladies Fellowship Group and also a member of the VFW Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Gleason of White Cloud; daughter, Dorrie (Robert) Dye of Newaygo; granddaughter, Erica Dye of Fremont; her mother, Mary Hoebeke of Hesperia; stepchildren, Deborah Marker of Comstock Park; Cynthia (Robert) Delmont of Belmont; Beth Ann (Tony) Carnegie of White Cloud; her brother, Joe (Bert) McDonald of Brooksville, Florida; sisters, Dorothy (Earl) Ober of White Cloud; Virginia Stillwell of Hesperia; Mary Dake of Hesperia; Geraldine (Ron) Biddelman of Dewitt, MI; several nieces, nephews, and step grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, December 26, 2000 from the Christ Lutheran Church in White Cloud with Rev. Richard C. Hoogerhyde of the Christ Lutheran Church presiding with interment in the White Cloud Cemetery. Friends may consider the Christ Lutheran Church Building Fund for memorial contributions.
