Patricia Jean Laughlin, age 84, of White Cloud passed away at the Newaygo County Compassion Home in White Cloud. Patricia was born on February 27, 1936, in Ecourse, Michigan to Homer S. and Lena May (Gieb) Thomas and later married Raymond Michael Laughlin on April 1, 1961. Patricia had worked at Mount Saini Hospital in Chicago, various nursing homes, and retired from the District #10 Michigan Department of Health. She was a member of the American Legion, White Cloud Eagles, and enjoyed volunteering with Alzheimer's Home Health Care. Patricia is survived by her children, Patrick Thomas Laughlin, Leslie Renee Moore, Laurie Joanne O'Laughlin, and Jacqueline Serafin; grandchildren, Jeremy, Jodie, Rachel, Brandon, Karne, Cortney, Michael, Lindsey, Lauren, and Lea; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and several special friends that have helped her in the past several years. She was preceded by her husband, Raymond; brothers and sisters, Elizabeth Thomas, Joan Boggs, Edward Thomas, Jack Thomas, and Margaret L. Seavitt; and her grandson, Gabriel.
