Patricia Jean Royce, age, 80, of White Cloud passed away on Monday, May 9, 2022, at the Newaygo County Compassion Home in Fremont. Pat was born on July 17, 1941, in Muskegon to Joseph Edward and Beulah Marie (Overley) Norwood and had been an upholsterer for many years. Pat enjoyed sewing and had been active in 4-H training leader dogs for the blind. Pat is survived by her companion of 27 years, Walter Broadhurst; children, Avis Marie Oliva of Florida, David Gordon (Jennifer) Royce of Tennessee, and Beveni Jo (Larry) Phillips of Ohio; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Edward (Kathy) Norwood of Muskegon and Allen Norwood of Georgia; several nieces and nephews; and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Shelly Lynn Royce; brother, James Norwood; and sisters, Karen Atwood and Frances Simons. A Celebration of Life for Pat will be held at 11AM on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at the Woodville Community Church (6206 N Pine Ave White Cloud, MI 49349) with a luncheon immediately following.
