Sanborn, Patricia J. Patricia J. Sanborn, age 71 of Fremont, passed away Sunday, January 07, 2007 at her home following a long illness. Patricia was born on August 8, 1935 in Chicago, Illinois to Alfred and Ingeborg (Greenbeck) Alfsen and later married Roy L. Sanborn on May 14, 1960 in Fremont. Roy preceded her in death on February 19, 1985. Patricia has been a lifelong resident of the Fremont area where she had been a homemaker and enjoyed shopping and had been an avid reader. She especially enjoyed planning family gatherings her way and spending time with her grandchildren and friends. She is survived by her children, Sharon (Bob) Sanborn-Rottman of Fremont; Michael (Carrie) Sanborn of Fremont; Debbie (Ellis) Luchies of Kentwood; Lori Bunker of Fremont; Barbara (Todd) Horton of Fremont; Mark (Jamie) Sanborn of Fremont; her grandchildren, Charles (Kathy) Rottman; Rachel (Scott) Johnson; Cassondra, Jamie, Calvin, Tim & Desirae Sanborn; Adam & Morgan Luchies; Taylor, Arabella & Drew Cummings; Calob & Lindsay Horton; Adam, Nicholas & Kaitlyn Sanborn; her great granddaughter, Madeline Rottman; her best friend, Emogene Murphy of Fremont. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy and by her sister, Cheryl Alfsen. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, January 10, 2007 from the Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel with Pastor Jon Fuson of the White Cloud Church of God presiding with interment in the Lincoln Township Cemetery.
