Patricia E. Walters Sabo, age 78 of Fremont, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at the Spectrum Health Gerber Memorial Health Services in Fremont. Patricia was born on March 30, 1934 in Chicago to Bohmil and Erma (Patten) Kubicek. Pat graduated from Fremont High School in 1952 and later graduated from Muskegon Community College and Baker College. Patricia married Clare Walters Jr. on September 26, 1953 and he preceded her in death. She later married Mike Sabo on November 5, 1982 and he preceded her in death. Patricia had been a telephone operator for several years, was a member of the All Saints Catholic Church where she had played the organ at the All Saints Catholic Church, St. Joseph Catholic and St. Michaels Catholic Church for over 32 years; had been the captain of the St. Lazare Catholic Retreat for 30 years; was an Avon representative for several years; and enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and drawing. Patricias greatest accomplishment however, was being a mother and grandmother. Patricia is survived by her children, Linda Deuling of Fremont; Diane L. McGraw of Fremont; Roxanne (Bill) Kennedy of Fremont; Brenda Hardy of Tennesee; Garth (Heather) Walters of Georgia; Patricia Penny (Scott) Spoelstra of Wayland; Jennifer (Jerry) Mitchell of Fremont; 23 grandchildren; 45 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; her step children, Michael (Elena) Sabo Jr. of Fremont; Michelle (Cary) Chase of Hesperia; Theresa (Donald) Counterman of Holton; Jane (Lee) Fuller of Grant; her brother and sisters, James (Mary) Kubicek of California; Shirley Ann Borgman of Fruitport; Carolyn (Ken) Ronk of Goshen, Indiana; Kathy B. Wolframe of Ohio. Patricia was preceded in death by her daughter, Carolanne M. Walters; her son, Butch Clare Walters; her great grand daughter, Amber L. Youngs; her son-in-law, Nick McGraw; her brother, Nick Kubicek; and her brother-in-law, John Borgman. VISITATION : Thursday, February 21, 2013 from 6-8pm at Crandell Funeral Home and Friday, February 22, 2013 from 10:30-12pm at the All Saints Catholic Church in Fremont with ROSARY SERVICES prayed at 10:30am at the church. MASS OF RESURRECTION SERVICES : Friday, February 22, 2013 at 12:00pm at the All Saints Catholic Church with Rev. Father Roc Majalla presiding. INTERMENT : Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
